Welcome to the Greater Kenridge City Improvement District (CID)

The Greater Kenridge Neighbourhood CID is a community-driven proposal to establish a City Improvement District (CID) for the Greater Kenridge area. The following suburbs are to be included in the proposed CID: Kenridge, Kenridge Heights, Kenever, De Bron and Durbanville Hills. This initiative brings residents, property owners, and local stakeholders together around a shared vision: to create a safer, cleaner, and more connected neighbourhood through structured collaboration and targeted investment.

A CID enables the community to pool resources to fund supplementary services — such as enhanced public safety, urban maintenance, environmental upliftment, and social development — all in addition to the basic services provided by the City of Cape Town.

We are currently engaging the community to build broad-based support for the establishment of the CID. With your participation, we can create a framework that protects the character of our neighbourhood, improves service delivery, and ensures that Greater Kenridge continues to thrive.
